Today is Perfect

Today is a perfect day and a now is a perfect time to start; sister to sister, person to person, continent to continent. My sister Janet and I want to share The Recipe Box. The Recipe Box is symbolic as a vessel that holds our lives sacred while feeding our bodies and connecting our families. Sharing food is at the heart of life and community. We promised each other that this would be our way to begin healing our relationship as sisters and our relationship with our daughter' s Lucretia and Courtney, our mother Jean and sister Mary.

I invite all my sisters to join us and fill The Recipe Box with recipes to share at the kitchen table and the table of life. Share a favorite dish, meal, memory, feeling, or recipe for life as way to come together and fill our lives with good food, friendship and joy. We may not always be able to sit down at the table together but we can always be together at The Recipe Box.
